Aloha from the new Digital Frontier!
I've just been exported into cyberspace and boy are my bytes tired!

Here's the whole REEL MAUI: DIGITAL PARDISE team at the Kauai Institute
for Communications Media , AFI Storytelling Conference for the Next Millenium.
(from L to R) Margaret Lewis, Associate Director for Marketing and Outreach for the Maui High Performance Computing Center (MHPCC), Jore Park and Wylci Fables of SeaSeer, (the fastest renderers in the pacific!) and Michael Van Hinbergen, Media Fusion.

Here's my new friend from this side of the pond, Larry Richelli a nice Italian guy from Kauai. He's been instrumental in bringing all these pages to you so please,
APPLAUD NOW!

This is Steve Luksic, aka "the tree" (standing here next to one of his Polynesian relatives). Steve works with Synchromic Studios on Maui -- a full service production house specializing in CGI.

Here's another Maui Pirate from the Pacific Imaging Center, David Ulrich. We all work together in the islands to help each other and David provided a lot of Apple workstations for the conference -- way to go David!

We're thrilled (as you can see here ) to be part of the Digital Revolution here in the islands. From our Supercomputer ; the second largest IBM SP2 in the world -- to our digital animation companies, THE REEL MAUI TEAM has it all!

With RenderMan, mental ray, and adding capability all the time, our supercomputer (with an ocean view) can render your projects in less time and an incredibly low cost!
T-1, T-3 Fed Ex or just hop on United a bring us your files -- while you sip a Mai Tai and work on your tan we'll be putting our nodes to work for you.

If you'd like to chat with the people in this photo call us
(from L to R)
808-876-0297, 808-243-7710, 808-879-5077

And Maui's not just a digital paradise, it's also a great place to shoot a movie, write a movie, make new friends and learn about the Hawaiian culture.

We've gotta run now, out to the sand, surf and sea -- ready to pilot our ship to the next exciting adventure. Please come to next year's conference and we'll bring some Maui Chips in "byte" size pieces -- just for you!

Oh, by the way, this is my mom and dad -- George and Pearl Skinner in their Sunday finest. This picture was taken in a train station in San Francisco on April 2, 1939. They brought me up to be nice to people and in turn they would be nice to you.
It works - trust me. Just try it, you'll see.

THIS IS RENDERETTE, GEORJA SKINNER
signing off for now. Look for us on the other side of the rainbow
in a digital paradise they call MAUI,HAWAII
ALOHA!
Me kealoha pumehana!
